Service Description
Rejuvenate your body & mind after work, ready to explore life anew with family. This is a 10 week (~3 months) long course that teaches the techniques to practice ancient yogic breathing styles (pranayama) and its health benefits. Specifically, we focus on learning 12 breathing practices that help you cultivate a deeper level of awareness and relaxation that promotes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. The class starts with basic levels of pranayama and moves to advance levels after a month and half so members have time to establish a daily practice and learn the basics first. We practice in a small group, meet once a week for 60 minutes on Monday evening from 6pm to 7pm. Once graduated, everyone becomes part of the Ayur-Vidya Pranayama Alumni (the Sat-Sang of Ayur-Vidya) and have the option to join the weekly practice sessions on Friday evening (6pm to 7pm). (Optional) Once every quarter, the Sat-Sang meets for a day-trip to Mt-Madonna. We spend a day in the mountains with two freshly cooked meals, one Yoga class followed by Aarti at the Hanuman Temple. You may see 12 sessions on the website at some places. 2 Sessions will be cancelled either because of holidays or to give a break during the entire period.
