True leaders creates more leaders

You may have heard this before, but I have been fortunate enough to witness a leader who does this naturally in his life with everything he does. And yet I didn't believe people like this existed until I knew this person for almost a decade.

When you are in proximity of such a person, your heart and mind just naturally opens up. They become a mirror and take on the shape of your mind; you see your reflection in them without distortion; and this is such a powerful experience that you get inspired to be like them. This is precisely how they make selves a true leader.

One such instance may illustrate this point better. Once during a regular chat I said, "Leaders are Indispensable". And the response surprised me. He said, "A true leader knows he is not there forever. Therefore, he prepares other people for the day when he is not around. Finally, when he is not there anymore, everyone is ready to do what they are supposed to do". In the most simplistic words, he just told me how he prepares leaders every moment by keeping himself completely out of focus, while just being himself. Only a true leader can explain this so subtly and simply.

In the world today, we need true leaders; not indispensable ones who can't be replaced. But who is this leader and how do you find one?

Well, if you look within, you'll find one yourself. Don't you prepare your child slowly to do his own chores and learn the skills of daily living so he is not dependent on you anymore? The only difference between a true leader and a parent is then how consciously do they do it in every moment of their lives. Or yet another way to look at it is that, a true leader considers the whole world as their own family and every human being as their own child to prepare for the day when s/he can be independent.
